When I decided to look for new job opportunities and found CareTalent, I found the opportunity I was looking for.
In a very well-designed program, I first attended the online Dutch language course. The course was a very demanding challenge with a high level of commitment. It required a lot of discipline and some sacrifices.
In the final phase of the course, classes were in person, at the school gym, in Porto with other colleagues. This socialisation also contributed to sharing knowledge and broadening horizons.
In fact, the entire experience was very rewarding. I felt like I managed to evolve outside of my comfort area and that made me proud.
When I arrived in the Netherlands, I had the support and guidance I expected and needed to settle in safely.
During the first weeks, I received monitoring and pedagogical guidance on procedures and approaches to situations and about the objectives and needs of the service.
Today I live in Zaandam, a beautiful city in the Netherlands, very close to Amsterdam.
I believe that I have developed greater efficiency in my work and have better perspectives for my life.
